Kienbock’s Radial Shortening Osteotomy

Precision oblique radial shortenings in Kienbock’s disease are made possible by utilizing an upright saw guide which provides both 2.8 and 4.2 mm radial recessions. The flared stainless steel or titanium plate conforms to the volar radius. Pass-Through™ plate benders allow for gentle plate contouring, and the narrow compression device permits smooth osteotomy apposition with the plate already in place. An Allen wrench option facilitates osteotomy compression.
