Doctor of Occupational Therapy
Beverly Bass has specialized in upper extremity rehabilitation and lymphedema therapy in both the acute care and the outpatient care settings since 2006. She received her Doctor of Occupational Therapy with a concentration in upper extremity rehabilitation from the University of St. Augustine in 2010, and earned her Certification in Hand Therapy in 2016. She has presented both locally and nationally on upper extremity rehabilitation topics. Most recently, she presented at the American Society of Hand Therapists’ Annual Meeting and the Wisconsin Hand Experience. She is an Adjunct Professor for Concordia University Wisconsin’s Doctor of Occupational Therapy program. She has been a member of the American Society of Hand Therapists since 2010, and has served as a volunteer for the Research Division since 2011. She assisted in the academic and clinical review of the ASHT Clinical Assessment Recommendations 3rd Edition, graded and reviewed abstracts for recent annual meetings, and wrote research blogs for the ASHT website. She is the current Chair of the Journal Club, and serves on the Scientific Review and Mentorship Committee. She is the featured Associate Member in the ASHT Times, fall 2016 edition.
